Salary conditions (gross): From EUR 2,000 gross/ The resulting salary is competitive with the private sector and will depend on the candidate’s experience and expertise.
Job Information:
As Project Coordinator for the Disinformation Agenda, you will coordinate activities in the Digital Agenda Directorate General to fight disinformation and harmful content on the internet. You will prepare grant calls from the state budget and the Recovery and Resilience Support Mechanism, help successful applicants implement their projects and coordinate the development and application of supporting IT solutions for the needs of public institutions. Furthermore, you will participate in the development of policies and strategies aimed at combating disinformation and harmful content on the internet, including the regulation of social networks and online platforms.
Job Description, powers and responsibilities:
Your main task will be:
- prepare and implement calls for proposals to support projects aimed at developing and deploying advanced technologies to combat the spread of misinformation and harmful content on the internet,
- support beneficiaries in the implementation of successful projects,
- collaborate with key actors in the public administration and the professional community in the preparation (development and deployment) of a supporting IT tool for the detection of disinformation and malicious content across public institutions,
- participate in development of policies and strategies to combat disinformation and harmful content on the internet, including the regulation of social networks and online platforms.
Candidate requirements:
- minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in project coordination and/or policy development,
- knowledge of demand-driven call preparation or project implementation,
- knowledge of issues related to fighting misinformation and the latest technological trends.
Education and experience required:
- university education II. degree,
- at least 2 years experience in project coordination or policy-making,
- English language at B2 level.
