Position title: Cybersecurity Information and Communications Technology Analyst
Type of employment: temporary civil service
Salary conditions (gross): From EUR 2,800 gross/ The resulting salary is competitive with the private sector and will depend on the candidate’s experience and expertise.
Job Information:
Your job will be to perform tasks in the field of cyber and information security, development and implementation of the CIB strategy for public administration, creation and continuous improvement of a unified framework of methodological procedures and standards for the field of cyber and information security in public administration; submitting proposals for legislative changes in the field of cyber and information security.

Job Description, powers and responsibilities:
The position currently being filled mainly includes:
- performing activities of a cyber security analyst
- performing management of highly professional creative activities in the field of ICT analysis
- ensuring a detailed analysis of the cyber security situation and proposing solutions to potential incidents
- being responsible for ensuring that policymakers are properly informed
- in carrying out their work, they are guided by the security measures in place in the organisation and its documentation in accordance with the applicable legislation
- performing in-depth analyses of the cybersecurity situation
- assessment of the severity of security incidents
- performance of follow-up analyses of incidents intercepted by the surveillance centre staff
- monitoring trends in cybersecurity and proposing measures according to current developments
- recommending updating processes for dealing with security incidents
- preparing documents for the presentation of security incident resolution
- communication with the professional public to share experience and information regarding cyber-attacks and how to secure against them
- producing documentation within the defined scope of the cyber security domain
- contributing to building the security awareness of the Ministry staff in the field of cyber security
- in executing their work, they will follow the security measures in place at the Ministry and Act No 69/2018 Coll. 95/2018 Coll. on information technology in public administration, security norms and standards
Candidate requirements:
- IT expertise – UML, CASE
- experience with the application of KB standards to the IS VS environment
- experience with testing of information/software system
- experience in cyber threat analysis using KIB technology (security devices)
- ability to identify and describe cyber threats and types of attacks
- experience in data collection and data analysis in the field of KIB
Education and experience required:
- university degree II
- minimum 3 years of experience in analysing and defining cybersecurity requirements
- minimum 3 years of practical experience in managing IT processes, designing solutions and preparing cybersecurity solution tasks
Personal Attributes and Skills:
- English language at B2 level
